1. *Question: How would you rate the performance of Governor Seyi Makinde, your benefactor?*

Governor Seyi Makinde is a great man with a great vision for the people of Oyo State and Nigeria in general. He is a fantastic leader whose contribution to the growth and prosperity of our state has been remarkable.
His administration has made significant interventions in critical sectors, from education and healthcare to agriculture, infrastructure, security and economic development. Beyond the physical projects, Governor Makinde has demonstrated that government can be purposeful, people-oriented and accountable.
I am proud to acknowledge his support and mentorship, but my appreciation of his administration goes beyond personal benefit. I have seen the transformation taking place across Oyo State, and I believe the next administration must consolidate these achievements rather than destroy or abandon them.
2. *Question: If you become governor, will you continue the legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde?*
*Answer:*
Absolutely. Continuity does not mean copying everything that has been done. It means preserving what is working, improving what needs improvement and introducing new ideas where necessary.
My administration will build on the foundations already laid while bringing fresh energy, greater efficiency, innovation and a stronger focus on the welfare of ordinary people.
Oyo State has made progress, and our responsibility is to take that progress to the next level.
3. *Question: What makes you believe you are qualified to govern Oyo State?*

Governance requires more than political ambition. It requires knowledge, competence, experience, courage, discipline and the ability to assemble the right people to solve complex problems.
My experience in public service, administration, finance and development has exposed me to the realities of governance and the enormous potential of Oyo State.
I understand both the opportunities and the challenges before us. Most importantly, I understand that leadership is not about occupying an office; it is about accepting responsibility for the lives and future of millions of people.

4. *Question: What is your vision for Oyo State?*

My vision is to build an Oyo State that is economically vibrant, secure, technologically driven, agriculturally productive and socially inclusive.
I want an Oyo State where young people can find opportunities at home instead of being compelled to leave in search of a future; where farmers can make genuine prosperity from agriculture; where businesses can thrive; where our healthcare and education systems are stronger; and where government infrastructure supports economic growth.
My vision is simple: a prosperous Oyo State where government creates opportunities and citizens have the freedom and capacity to succeed.
5. *Question: What will be your major priority if elected?*
*Answer:*
My priority will be human capital and economic development.
We must invest heavily in our people because no state can develop beyond the capacity of its citizens. Education, healthcare, skills acquisition, technology, agriculture and entrepreneurship will therefore receive serious attention.
At the same time, we will continue investing in infrastructure because good roads, reliable electricity, water supply and an efficient transport system are essential to economic development.

6. *Question: How will you tackle unemployment among Oyo youths?*

Government cannot employ everybody, but government can create the environment in which people can employ themselves and others.
We will promote vocational and technical education, support entrepreneurship, facilitate access to finance, encourage technology-driven businesses and attract investors who can create sustainable jobs.
We will also establish stronger partnerships between government, private businesses, educational institutions and development organisations.
Our young people do not need pity. They need opportunity, skills, access to capital and an enabling environment.We shall employ more people into the government service
7. *Question: What will you do differently in agriculture?*

:
We must move agriculture from subsistence farming to serious commercial enterprise.
Oyo State has enormous agricultural potential. We will strengthen farmer cooperatives, improve access to inputs and modern equipment, expand irrigation where necessary, promote agro-processing and develop stronger markets for agricultural products.
The objective is not simply to produce food but to build an agricultural economy that creates wealth, jobs and export opportunities.

8. *Question: How will you improve healthcare in Oyo State?*

Healthcare must be accessible, affordable and effective.
We will strengthen primary healthcare centres, improve staffing and equipment, support healthcare workers and promote preventive medicine. We will also strengthen referral systems so that patients can receive appropriate care at secondary and tertiary levels.
A healthy population is a productive population. Healthcare is therefore not merely a social service; it is an investment in the state’s economic future.

Our approach will be to expand people’s earning capacity while supporting measures that reduce unnecessary costs.

Public resources belong to the people, not to the governor or political office holders.

If elected governor, I will govern for every citizen of Oyo State, regardless of political affiliation, religion, ethnicity, senatorial district or personal relationship with me.
The people deserve a government that is fair, inclusive and competent.

Local governments are closest to the people and must be empowered to perform their constitutional responsibilities effectively.
We will strengthen cooperation between the state and local governments and encourage them to focus on grassroots development, primary healthcare, environmental sanitation, rural infrastructure and other areas that directly affect citizens.
Development must reach the grassroots.

I ,Abimbola Adekanmbi shall continue with lofty programs of Governor Seyi makinde administration and even strengthen them more and continue with existing mutual relationship between government and workers and pensioners in the state and pledge that I will surpass my boss performance in welfare of workers and pensioners with laudable programs aimed at making life easier for them if given the opportunity

I have said this in many places that I have come from the background of a trader,I Abimbola Adekanmbi if elected as your governor will make life easier for the traders, market men and women by providing them enabling environment to do their businesses,provide them with incentives, grants and everything needed for their businesses to thrive and market men and women Shall be my friends and I will be extraordinarily good to them because they are stakeholders in the development of the state
