2027 : ‘It’s Time to Reset Nigeria ’ — Oyo Central GSM Youth Coordinator, Lamosagacious, Mobilises Support for APM Candidates

Recently, after loved ones saw me at the campaign office with our incoming Governor, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi, many asked me: “Egalitarian, what are you still looking for in politics, especially after everything you’ve put into supporting GSM?”

My answer was simple and straight to the point: I never supported Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for personal gain. I supported him for the collective benefit of our people—a drive that has defined my journey for over two decades, going back to our days at that great citadel of technological innovation, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. Those who know Egalitarian Lamosagacious from those early days know the story: small body, big engine!

Lately, being away in the diaspora, I haven’t felt completely like myself. The political and social culture here is vastly different from how we are wired back home. But today, it is time to reconnect to the source. As I have always done, I am stepping up to mobilize our people back home for the campaigns and elections. Anyone who knows me knows I am a pragmatic achiever—when I set my mind on a goal, I put everything else aside until it is achieved. And by God’s grace, we will achieve this.

As campaigns officially kick off, I am launching my grassroots, door-to-door diaspora campaign right from where I am.

I call on everyone to join this movement to reset Nigeria—to build the country our forefathers envisioned, where the son or daughter of a nobody can become somebody without needing a connection in high places. I often remind people that my father or mother wasn’t famous in Ibadan, but this struggle is no longer just about me; it is about every single Nigerian.

We can achieve the Nigeria of our dreams, and we will do it through the APM, top to bottom, guided by our core mandate: “NIGERIA FIRST.”

To realize this vision, we need dedicated, proven leaders like Governor ‘Seyi Makinde (FNSE), Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi, and all candidates running under the APM banner. As the Yoruba saying goes, ẹnìkan kò kí n jẹ awade—we must build together.

Let us support all APM candidates and secure the future our children deserve.
